Muse Connector API

Raw API for Muse agents to find Taskquatch help in Middle Tennessee, show a full price (base + add-ons + service fee), start a request with SMS verification, and check status. Customers still add a payment method in the Taskquatch app before matching. Payment is charged after the task is completed.

Tool classes

Every operation is annotated for Muse tool routing:

Read GET /services, GET /services/{slug}, POST /quotes, GET /task-requests/{id}
Sensitive write POST /task-requests (sends SMS), POST /task-requests/{id}/verify (creates lead/task)

There is no cancel endpoint in v1. Status check only for follow-ups.

Flow

Search: GET /services?query=hang+a+shelf&city=Nashville
Quote: POST /quotes with slug and optional add_on_ids. Show total and payment_timing to the user.
After user approval: POST /task-requests with quote_token, name, phone, email, service address. Optionally send Idempotency-Key.
Ask the user for the 6-digit SMS code, then POST /task-requests/{id}/verify.
Share continuation_url / next_step so they add a payment method in the app.
Poll GET /task-requests/{id}?status_token=....

Statuses

Status	Meaning
`verification_required`	SMS code sent; waiting for verify
`submitted_needs_payment_method`	Lead/task created; customer must add a card in the app. Not booked.
`finding_taskquatcher`	Payment method ready; matching a helper
`matched`	Helper assigned / scheduled
`in_progress`	En route or working
`completed`	Done (charged after completion)
`cancelled`	Cancelled
`failed`	Could not create the request

Pricing

Quotes include base specialty price, selected add-ons, and a 15% service fee. Currency is USD. Payment timing string is always: “Charged in the Taskquatch app after the task is completed.”

Rate limits

20 requests/second, burst 40
20,000 requests/day on the Muse usage plan
Phone cap: 5 new leads per phone per 24 hours

Test instructions (Nashville)

Use a staff phone that can receive SMS in Nashville.
GET /services?query=dog+walking&city=Nashville
POST /quotes with the returned slug and any add-on ids.
Confirm totals with the user, then POST /task-requests.
Enter the SMS code via verify; open the continuation link and add a payment method in the app.
Confirm status moves from submitted_needs_payment_method toward matching.

Known gap

Muse cannot complete booking end-to-end. After verify, the customer must add a payment method in Taskquatch before a Taskquatcher is matched. Always surface submitted_needs_payment_method and the continuation link. Never describe the job as booked at that step.
