You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from our systems. This right is protected by various privacy laws including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), and other applicable regulations.
Step 1: Open the Taskquatch™ app and go to Settings
Step 2: Navigate to General → Danger Zone
Step 3: Tap "Delete Account" and follow the confirmation process
Step 4: Enter your password to confirm your identity
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
Send an email to hello@taskquatch.app
Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
Include your email address and reason for deletion
We will process your request within 24 hours
Your account is deactivated and you are logged out
Authentication credentials are removed from our systems
Local app data and preferences are cleared
Biometric credentials are disabled
Cached conversations are removed
Personal information is anonymized (name, email, phone, avatar)
Device information is cleared
Location data is removed
Profile data is replaced with generic identifiers
All user-generated content is permanently deleted
Tasks and task history are removed
Messages and conversations are deleted
Saved addresses are cleared
Vendor favorites and ratings are removed
Social posts and comments are deleted
Referral codes and tracking data are cleared
Some data must be retained for legal compliance purposes. This is required by law and cannot be deleted.

Deletion request logs (for audit purposes)

Before deleting your account, you can export a copy of all your data:
Go to Settings → Privacy → Data Management → Export My Data
Tap "Export My Data" to download your information
The file will include your profile, tasks, messages, and addresses
Data is provided in JSON format for easy access

Contact us immediately if you believe your account was deleted in error
We may be able to recover some data within the first 24 hours
After 30 days, data recovery is not possible
Legal compliance data cannot be recovered or deleted
